Surfline Coastal Intelligence is built on more than four decades of observing and understanding the ocean. Since 1985, Surfline has provided surfers and ocean enthusiasts with trusted forecasts, live camera feeds, and insights to help them make the most of every swell. That same deep respect for the ocean — and our expertise in monitoring it — inspired us to take our mission even further.

Driven by our love for the coast, we created Surfline Coastal Intelligence to help communities, governments, and organizations protect and manage their shorelines. Our team of leading oceanographers, computer vision specialists, and PHD scientists develops advanced computer vision systems that deliver reliable, near-real-time coastal data.
